Thank you, Plantation supporters, for your generous contributions to the effort to preserve Plantation Golf Course, which is under the threat of development. As of November 8th, some 120 contributors have given more than $30,000 -- enough to fuel a vigorous defense in the months ahead.
While we're off to a great start, please consider giving to the effort to preserve Plantation -- Garden City's last, big piece of open space. The century-old, 118-acre site provides recreational, historical, cultural and environmental value and benefit to our community, which will be diminished if the course is developed.
